JITO HOSTEL provides lodging and boarding facilities exclusively for male students belonging to Jain community. The admission process is as follows:

→ Application form:  Interested students can fill up the form on the website.

→ Submission of the form: The duly filled application form along with all the necessary documents must be submitted online

→ Scrutiny of the application: The applications will be scrutinized by the hostel authorities to check the eligibility criteria and other requirements.

→ Interview: The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview with the hostel authorities.

→ Final selection: The final selection will be made based on the performance in the interview and the availability of seats.

→ Proof of Jain identity: To get admission, you need to show proof of being Jain, like a certificate from Jain Sangh or a recommendation letter from a Trustee.

→ Academic performance: You must meet certain academic standards, like having a minimum GPA or doing well in your studies.

→ Dietary restrictions: Our hostels only serve Jain food and don’t allow alcohol, tobacco, or other intoxicants.

→ Timings: There’s a curfew for when you need to be back at the hostel at night. 

→ Visitors: Guests can visit during specific hours or with prior approval

→ Conduct: No drugs, alcohol, smoking, or disruptive behaviour

→ Safety: We have security measures like cameras and patrols

→ Eligibility: Any Jain student who’s passed 10th & 12th with at least 60% marks and is 15 years old can apply.

→ Academic Records: Marks in SSC and/or HSC are important for admission.

→ College and Courses: We accept students in approved undergraduate and graduate courses.

→ Last Date for Application:  25/05/2024

→ Merit List: We’ll make a merit list based on our criteria

→ After submitting the form, shortlisted students will get an interview email and need to visit with their parents, original documents, and medical reports. They also need proof of college admission and must pay fees by cheque.

→ Continuous Students: Admission is for one year, subject to certain conditions like passing exams and getting recommendations.

→ Refundable deposit : Refundable deposit: Rs. 10,000/-

→ Fees (including food and accommodation): Rs. 1,08,000/- plus GST. Payable in two Instalments.
